Quick Start Guide

Get up and running with Mind Dump by creating an account and adding your first task in just a few minutes.

Prerequisites

  • A modern web browser like Chrome, Firefox, or Safari
  • A valid email address for account registration
  • A few minutes to set up your first task

Mind Dump is a web-based application, so no downloads or installations are required. Simply use any device with internet access.

Create Account and Log In

Follow these steps to access your Mind Dump dashboard.

Visit Mind Dump

Open your browser and navigate to https://minddump.uk.

Register or Log In

On the login page, enter your username and password.

New users: Use the registration form to create an account with your email.

Check "Keep me logged in for 7 days" for convenience on personal devices.

Complete Login

Click 🔐 Login. If using a shared computer, always log out afterward to protect your data.

Explore the Dashboard

Once logged in, you'll see the main interface with your active session status and timezone loading.

Key areas include the search bar, task input, and customization modals.

Add Your First Task

Capture what's on your mind immediately.

Type Your Thought

Enter text in "What's on your mind?".

Submit

Click 💭 Send to Mind Dump.

Your task now appears in the list. Search or filter to find it.

Set Up Timezone and Preferences

Tasks use your local timezone for dates like "today" or "tomorrow".

  1. Check Active Session status shows 🔓 Unlocked and your timezone.
  2. Open customization (gear icon) for:
    • Card layout: Toggle fields, reorder, set hover delay (recommend 300ms).
    • Preferences: Adjust menu expansion and interactions.
  3. Save changes to apply live preview.
